If only those nine people had been armed as they were praying, or those 20 children at Sandy Hook while they were playing. What about those 12 moviegoers in Colorado? Why weren't they packing heat along with their popcorn? Ridiculous? Yes. In fact, sickening.
Yes, Ray Sherrock, there are some truly sickening people in this world. But you are mistaken on who is the sickening person. It isn't the law abiding individual gun owner who wishes to protect his or her own life. The sickening people are the murderers. The real kicker, however, is that your ideological position is sickening. Your position disempowers law abiding people and empowers criminals.
