The article, as far as l read, paints a real David vs Goliath picture with the rich and powerful gun lobby overpowering the poor, underfunded and good-hearted safety advocates.

There's a reason for that (if true, which l doubt).

They point out that gun control advocacy is barely a blip on the political radar... NOBODY really gives a crap in the real world. It's in no way a priority for the vast majority of Americans and the only one's making the noise is MSM and politicians who love it as a wedge issue. It's just another iteration of the Victim vs Oppressor narrative that the left embraces so tightly.
