You need to look. There are wood stocks that look slanted but are not and stocks that look straight and are slant. You can't tell from the stock alone.

They have a drop in style stock similar to an m1a.
Not a 4 piece like a standard ak

Id leave it as is! That specific model that had a full run wood type stock was very uncommon if I recall. It was its own model wasnt it? Not just a run of the mill Vepr?
