For example, Russia is going all out building more of the same tank designs that are being knocked out easily by current drones. This is because the production line is set up and running. It would take years and lots of money to change over to a better-protected design, and even then it is likely that by then drones will have improved enough to overcome the advanced design tank.Big time. The cost of the modern tank is over the moon. As Drone's just keep getting better and cheaper to make throw away attack vehicles. The one BIG problem will be what it always is. People who build Tanks will fight tooth and nail to not let Gov stop buying them. Even when things become of no use the people selling them can buy a lot of law makers to hang on.
I still see jamming being the fastest solution. When it gets to the point that jail is a better alternative than a tank.Drone jamming has not been very successful so far, and advancements in AI seem to have overcome the worst of the jamming problems. Notice how first person views from drones pixelate badly as they close in on the target, but still hit it exactly where intended .
