Model 340 Savage scope mounts?

    Would anyone know what scope mounts are designed for the Model 340 Savage bolt action??

    Weaver?
    Burris?
    Leupold?

    Ebay usually has several mounts for the 340. Look around, there's usually a pretty wide range of prices for the same mount from different sellers.

    Those take a side mount plate, and take Weaver type rings. The left side of your receiver will need to have 4 mounting holes drilling & tapped. Some were factory drilled...

    It's a Weaver #1 side mount, Brownells and Midway and most gunsmithing shops have them in stock.
