Missouri: Forcing Parents to Reveal to Schools Whether They Own Firearms

I can see the more introverted kids being singled out and harassed by the school district if they find out that the parent of said child owns a firearm. Others can argue that it is a good idea as this could probably prevent unwanted event. Might as well give the school district an inventory of all your belongings and see what they may find dangerous.

I've found that the best way to counter a question about guns from a Doctor or other busybody is to ask them what kind of pornography they like. If they want to know about how I exercise my 2nd Amendment Right, I want to know how they exercise their 1st Amendment Right.

If I'm feeling particularly saucy, I'll get specific and ask them about super creepy pornography.

The word filters here are absolutely ridiculous.

I'm a Missourian. It'd be a miracle if this even got voted on. It will never pass there. Missouri has some of the best gun laws in the country.
I my book no laws are the best laws. :) But, I will refrain from passing judgement. :)

The danger is not that it might voted on in MO. Is that the mainstream media has caught a whiff of this turd and it is passing its stench all over the US. Other localities might get "inspired" to pursue similar pieces of s***t, and will not be as lucky as you guys.

Wait....Are these the same parents who lie to the school about their income so their kids can get on the free lunch program? Never mind, the school goes along with that because they get government money for each kid on that program.... Argh!!!

"The proposed law would criminalize and impose a $100 fine on parents who fail to inform public and private school officials and $1,000 they are found guilty of “negligent storage of a firearm” and fail to notify a school that they own a firearm." Quoted from the article above.

Just why does the school need to know that I have one? And Now I am a criminal for not telling them. Good god people why oh why are we putting up with this insanity???
