Low round count (200 rounds) MISR "Made in Egypt" This version used a Chinese trunion and barrel and shoot just like a Norinco Mak 90 and are the same quality. Deadly accurate. You can tell by the rivets on the barrel trunion that this is a good one...Looking at the right side of rifle, barrel trunion rivets are three in a row...back one down, middle one up and front down. Hard to find this quality anymore without spending 2 grand on an arsenal. This is NOT one of the junky ones on an Egyptian trunion. The only issue with the rifle is the top dust cover is jacked up a little and doesn't quite fit right but they are cheap enough to replace.

I have one of these. You are correct. The Misr's that use Egyptian Reciever with Egyptian Trunion with a sleeved barrel are JUNK. The way you tell is like you said Rivets on Trunion. The BAD ones are patterned like Russian rifles. Left to Right,1 down then the other 2 up. Yours and Mine are 1 down, next up, and then 3rd one down.JUST LIKE CHINESE RIFLES!!!!! Mine is just like yours, ACCURATE as hell. GLWS...... These are really great rifles. I have Mak-90"s and these shoot every bit as well.Oh and yes, it has a Chinese Barrel.

Mic it for meat. There might be enough to thread it. Mine has enough. Recommended Barrel OD size for Threading a AK Barrel. Ak =M14x1, Mininum is 0.5431, Maximum is 0.5501..Absolute Max for Die Threading without Resizing Barrel OD is 0.560..

I can take a picture when I get home this weekend for exact stamping but it's one of the good ones using mainly Chinese parts. It's basically a mak-90 in terms of quality and accuracy. Not many people know that some of the MISR rifles having outstanding craftsmanship and this is one of them.

Misr90 should be the model. Believe it's stamped on the barrel.
