Have you fired the Steven Model 87A? if not be advised that this model of semi auto .22 had a bad habit of becoming a full auto empty the tube weapon when they got worn. If it does this (sometimes only with shorts sometimes only with 22LR you need to either turn the rifle into the ATF, get it fixed ASAP, or take it apart and sell the parts.

Had a buddy have this happen with a Sears version of the same rifle. It was a Family gun so he found someone to fix it.

I haven't shot it! I will check it out to make sure! Says right on the barrel 22lr for semi automatic fire only! That's being said I guess shorts were never meant to be fed down the tube! Thanks for the heads up!
