Looking for a lightweight butt stock that is sturdy, light and handy. After all 223 doesn't recoil; so what have you guys found to hold up and is clean/simple fixed is OK.
I've found Ace ultra lite tube for $74;;;others?
the ace is about as simple, light, and effective as you will find. After that, maybe a magpul moe stock. Only down side to the ACE is that its fixed, but my old trusty A2 fixed stock has served me just fine. Works for the wife too. One of my next builds will probably have an ACE ultra lite just for giggles.
Ace sounds perfect for what you want. I have had one for years. Only problem I have had is I used it on long or heavy barreled guns and have moved to heavier stocks to balance the guns better.
OK I went with the Ace ARFX 9.9" it should give me the performance I was looking for. Thanks to all, I'm not an AR guy but it could be happening before I know it...
