He sent me a PM and said he never shot it with the strut on the rifle.
With hand loads mine shot about 1-1/2'' - 1-3/4'' max. @ 75 yards for about ten rounds ''slow fire'' with out the strut. Mine was SS 182 series and that is about as good as I could see. They weren't built for large mag dumps!
