I have one for Commander, and really like it.
I picked this one up (used, nice shape) without thinking. Mine have rails, so it will not work.
Problem solved, if I buy another 1911? Lets not go there!!

Weird, mine worked was meant for non railed and worked with my SA Operator just fine.

Since you mention this, I tried it. It's a bit tight, but with the pistol inserted, and a little manipulating of the wings back-n-forth, it does fit.
I'll mess with it a little more, after a few wraps of wax paper, slipped inside a ziploc.

You may have saved me having to list it after all.
