Military ID only at gun transaction

I'd like to see photo Id showing age when I sell a gun. If the buyer can "only" show military id, should that raise a red flag for some reason?

Just asking cause I've never seen a mil id.

why would it be an issue? If he has a valid ID, it's a valid ID. It's harder to get a military ID than a state ID.

Now, the whole idea of RESIDENCY could be an issue...

from what I know, Military ID does not show what state he live in. So no go for me.

If they have a copy of orders that assign them to a base/post in that state, for the purposes of purchasing a firearm they are considered residents.

Nope, no residency, but it will show sn, dob, full name, and a picture to boot.

Now you can also ask for a copy of his/her orders that post them in the state, and they should be able to easily comply with that request. Unless it's some wet behind the ear green fingered private, and I've seen a few......
