Migration causing potential anti-gun laws

There are a lot of people migrating to Washington and Oregon from their run down anti-gun states. I'm seeing more and more comifornians; our beauricrates in oregon are anti-gun liberals, and we were the 2nd state recently to obtain "universal background checks". In my opinion, the new background check system has set a precedent, and has embolden knee-jerkers to pass even stronger legislation when another blown out of proportion tragedy occurs.
What's your guys opinions?
I have plans to move. The cost of living is increasing every few months.

The amount of liberals coming here out number the conservatives by a large margin. The reason the libs are leaving is because they already ruined the state they were at. Conservative states are content, and have no reason to move.

There are many many things that would bring conservatives here and that must be started. They need to be educated on the recreational possibilities of the region and the fact that the left is trying to dominate the entire west coast. That alone will pizz off many to motivate them to move here. And again the Left is evil and they need to start being treated that way. Nice be damned when it comes to them. They trample on the right minded at every opportunity, so time to return the favor. Begin with lawsuits against everything they like and do, like they do to us. Make laws to stop things they like. Agree with you 100%. I haven't voted, because I thought it was a waste of time,but now I think I'm going to be a little more proactive.

I think this is true. I find it ironic that they cant stay where the laws and local govt. are ideal for their leaning.... hypocrites they are.

careful, many liberals are moving here 'because' of the recreational opportunities. I do agree we need to do things to encourage conservatives to move here but right now we seem to be doing things to cause them to move away....

All this being said and what to do? First off, here in the state of portland we don't have any affect on things. Secondly on several ocasions I have seen "gun people promoting bamma-lamma-ding-dong and the hildabeast. Just yesterday at a car show was a fellow that is a gun owner and vendor at gun shows passing out bernine sanders intel. When we are dealing with that mentality there isn't much hope for us that chose to stay here in Oregon. We just gotta play the hand we get dealt.

This sounds like a time warp thread. I mean it's been going on since forever.
Early 90's I was working in Seattle when the Ca folks were destroying the housing market for the normal locals. Bidding up the prices cause they had 2-300k in their pockets from their house sale down there.

I used to love going to bend. It was by far my favorite place. Always wanted to live there.
But the last couple times I went it didn't feel like the bend I grew up wanting.
It feels more like a portland/mountain cali town. Cost went way up and all you see is yuppies/ hipsters as far as you look.

And of course the homeless street kids everywhere!

Look at how Seattle "represents" all of Washington.. Now look at Eugene, Portland and the druggie capitol Salem.. Somehow they "represent" all of Oregon..

Problem is, the hand we're dealt is full of jokers. "Liberals" is a general term, but far to many liberals hate our Constitution, especially the 2nd and 10th, hate our founding fathers as old racist white guys, and hate anything remotely resembling Christianity. Some put the bong down just long enough to biatch about their fathers not being able to put the bottle down. How do you educate somebody that openly expresses their hate of any morality? Good luck prying that kool-aid out of their hands.
