I wonder how other guns would fair in a melt down test?

I'm not sure which is worse, the fact that they melted down a serviceable firearm or the fact that I watched all 6 minutes of it.

They could have added some Bryco/Jennings and others of that ilk and made some stew.

I wonder how well a zinc slide would handle a case failure... watching this makes me thankful I can afford a quality gun.

I am thinking about getting a High Point 9mm carbine. Ugly as sin, but I don't think it is possible to get a more reliable pistol center fire caliber carbine for less than $200 anywhere. It has to be the best value firearm on the planet.

Here that Knucklehead, you convinced me lol.

Dangit, i woulda given them at least $20 for that thing......:bluelaugh: That IS a bit sad though, i hope it wasn't a shooter.

I just got rid of one of those carbines Burt, fun plinker, ate all cheap ammo.....kinda regret letting it go. I wouldn't recommend the pro-mag 15 rounders, at least the version i had, horrible feeding. Now, if someone has a glock compatible Kel-Tec Sub 2000 9mm for less than/around $400, lemme know ;).

That was pretty funny. I have a Hi-Point C9 (9mm) and it's a very accurate piece surprisingly. Never had any problems in about 200 rounds through it.

Would have been more fun if they had some cartridges in it.
