Medical Advice as Fact

I know religion isn't allowed, and from what I've seen anything pertaining to giving law advice is too. So it would seem along the same lines that any kind of medical advice (which takes longer to get a doctorate in then a law degree) should be banned as well. If you don't trust a member to give law advice why trust then to give medical advice? It can be a practical solution to the what seems like endless vaccine posts that overwhelm actual gun posts.

Hey, I created a thread well before any of this asking about guns and seems no one has any opinions or answers. These forums are more covid focused then anything guns. So it feels normal to ask why and why medical advice seems like something a lot of users are experts on. I attempted to do the gun talk and no one seemed interested (well before I participated here), but if I speak on covid people can't seem to comment enough. Maybe I'm not the problem…

If I can be honest, yes. Especially if you go in guns a blazing. Members that have been here longer than you, who don't mind shooting the poop about Covid, do so mostly lightly. New users coming in with strong opinions usually get the troll stamp early on and it can stick.

Not every gun related post gets immediately responded to here. That's normal here.

Most that are here daily, are here to shoot the poop.

Me. I'm not hurting anyone. Just seems to rile some up when to give an opinion that
Doesn't align. I imagine the ignore button works both ways.
