Mech Tech calls this a carbine conversion unit and requires a 45 ACP 1911 lower to function. Here is Mech Tech's site: <broken link removed> They have all sorts of additional accessories that can be added to it. Overall length is about 33" with a 16 1/2" barrel.
I had planned for the longest time to get a 1911 lower that I could dedicate to this, but it just never happened. It's been in my safe for too long doing nothing, so...
$300. If you want to trade, I can go + or – cash to make a deal happen. I also have other items up for trade and we can combine things together as needed. This is not a firearm, but an accessory and can be purchased without FFL even interstate.
Trade interests: Kimber compact (or similar 1911), Dan Wesson CBOB, Glock 36, AR pistol (built at factory), or similar.
