Meal in a Jar

    My wife pointed me to this idea/blog and just passing on the info if you haven't seen this before. It's hard to get my wife excited about buying bulk rice and beans, but she's definitely more into this.

    This lady has a blog that has 52 different meal-in-a-jar recipes that have a 5-7 year shelf life.

    That seems like a really good idea to pre-mix everything since post-SHTF the less time you have to spend playing Martha Stewart the better.

    Pretty neat idea! That would make packing food for cabling trips soooo much easier.

    Nice! Thanks! We were looking at buying all the stuff and it looks like it'll be quite a bit of money up front, but should save a ton of money in the long run.
