My wife pointed me to this idea/blog and just passing on the info if you haven't seen this before. It's hard to get my wife excited about buying bulk rice and beans, but she's definitely more into this.

This lady has a blog that has 52 different meal-in-a-jar recipes that have a 5-7 year shelf life.

Nice! Thanks! We were looking at buying all the stuff and it looks like it'll be quite a bit of money up front, but should save a ton of money in the long run.
