Asking permission implies a privilege. The right to bear arms is not a privilege, it does not require citizens sucking up to the government with pleases and thank yous.

Many politicians forget that.

Having to apply for a CPL is an infringement. All gun laws are infringements. The fact that they have been allowed to be infringed upon for so long disgusts me.
