Call me crazy, but I can not swim in the Ocean. Just from that!!! Now, Do Not get me wrong, when I was younger, I could and often did swim Five Miles non-stop, in big lakes...

But the thought of having one of those cold blooded Lawyers that close to me in the Water...

Wait, did I say Lawyer, I meant shark.....

    :D

So, Mom told the kids it was a dolphin, because they live close to the water and are in the ocean all the time. Great parenting!! NOT!!

    I swim like a fish, have 6E feet :D
Well I swam out to Haystack when I was a teen. The one at PC. That is a mile out.
And made it back. About 2 weeks later was out in a dory and we had a great white swim alongside just inside the rock.
It was as big or bigger than the 22 ft dory we were in.
I have NEVER set foot in so much as that surf since.
I had no idea those were this far north til then.
Those wacko surfers that wear black wet suits might as well have a dinner bell on.
