The biggest difference between the soy boy pop country "recording artists" and the middle-class suburban rap stars is that the rappers are smart enough to HIDE their roots as privileged millennials (vs hardened street thugs) whereas the pop country homos attempt to relate to the weakest among us. I am not a fan.
Country isn't country anymore... I've stopped listening to any new artists. It just sounds like all the rest of the whiny singing being passed off as music. It's extremely disturbing to me that rap is being put in supposed country songs and that existing stars are clamoring about how we need this in the country music world.
