Mauser K98 still doing what it was intended at 75 years old

My post is a bit ''tongue in cheek''.

There is no way I can know this guns real history.
But then the burden of proof is always on the guy selling the story.

I just think it's funny [Strange] that the man is pictured with a dragunov or some such rifle over his back.
And not the supposed 400 slayer.


The caption below the picture states. ''Poses with a weapon'' That's it?

And yes It's a fine weapon I'd love to own.

I've run across this story previously and found it interesting; no reason to doubt its accuracy. Regardless of rifle type, K98 or Druganov (most likely), it's the man behind the weapon that makes it deadly. He is a high example of intestinal fortitude and skill at arms.

Its a SVD. The tabuk doesn't have a bayonet lug there, and the front sight is different.
