    Hi. Has this rifle been rechambered to 30-06?? I believe the only factory chambering was 7.65x53 Belgian. It's a bit shorter than 06.

    I'm not very knowledgeable on these it was my brothers and he needed some cash and sold it to me as he has no use for it

    all i know is its marked 30.06 on the barrel and thats what it shoots

    he bought it about 15 years ago from a dealer for hunting and found it was not drilled for scope mounts after he bought it so he then bought a winchester m70

    we have shot it and it shoots great and is very accurate for open sights
