Matching upper/lower billet machined to fit together

    I saw this on an AR manufacturers website.

    Matching upper/lower billet machined to fit together.


    If it is made to Mil-Spec tolerances, it should always fit, right?

    If it's just mil-spec the upper and lower receivers may rattle and clunk. Billet receivers should fit tight.

    An acu wedge does wonders in getting rid of the wiggle. Most of the colts used in the military all had a lot of wiggle. Makes them feel cheep in hand, but it does not really affect anything but long range accuracy.
