Mary's Peak hike, cleanup and shooting with the wife

The wife and I had a great morning hiking and scouting up on Mary's Peak. Found the old shooting area down by the Wilderness Tie Road pretty trashed so we spent a couple hours picking up. Almost filled the truck bed up. Probably another load and a half left. Maybe next weekend. The best part was the wife getting to shoot the new toy. Now she has 2 SR22 pistols. She was actually hitting a water bottle at 15 yards.

I bought my Granddaughter a raspberry SR-22 when she returned from her tour in the Middle East! She loves it and I like it! Gramps is a hero!

Good move to let them know you're out there doing this. I remember last years cleanup and was impressed with the FS folks and the Sheriff's Dept. Let us know if they plan that again!
