I just wish they would make a carbine with an octagon barrel. Better yet, a takedown carbine with an octagon barrel.

My restored rolling block in .357 mag with a 28" barrel has a muzzle velocity of 1800 fps. Gets pretty close to .30-30 ballistics.6.5 pounds and six shots of handgun ammo for $1200 by the time you get it to your FFL. Not for me.
