I still have a 39A that was bought in '68 or '69 and a 39M that I bought around '73 or '74. Both are still unbelievably tight today.

Fjestad's newest 30th edition "Blue Book of Gun Values" arrived on my doorstep today. If yours was made bewteen 1957-87, values are as follows:
100% - $395 98% - $350 95% - $300 90% - $250 80% - $200
70% - 175 60% - $150
Note: add 30% to pre-1970 (oil finished stock) models

There are NUMEROUS other exceptions here, depending on when it was made. If you suspect it was made before 1957, please email me and I can scan the pages and email them to you. Basically, older ones are worth more. If it's a 39A Octagon barrel made in 1973, it's worth more. If it's a first model 39A made in 1939 with a case colored frame, it's worth considerably more.

Gun show last weekend in Vancouver had 2. I don't think they sold. One was a Mountie (20 in. barrel, straight grip) for $450. The other was regular 39a for about the same, I think.
