Hmmm so what does the blue book say?

The 36G was a "low budget" Marlin 336 sold under the Glenfield name.
Sold by several chain stores. Birchwood stocks, cheaper sights.
The 36G was made 1964-1966.

Blue book doesn't list the Glenfields seperately. A standard Marlin 336
30-30 carbine from the same era Blue Books at:

100% 90% 60%
$495 $315 $175

A good servicable 36G would probably retail somewhere in the $200-$300
range.
 
Ide give you my Glock 23 w/NS for your Marlin and your Winchester 30-30s if they are decent. My Glock has ten rounds through it and is like new.
