I just picked up a old ('58 or '59) 336CS for a really good deal. Current wood is less than impressive. Where can I find a good set of quality wood, that doesn't have to be fit/finished? Every time I try to do wood work, I end up with a piece of firewood, so I want to keep it simple. It is a "pistol grip" rifle with the forend cap instead of a barrel band. Thanks!

Ebay and Gunbroker would be where I would start.

I bought a 336 stock from Numrich Gun Parts and it fit right on.

Checked them all out, nothing that I'm looking for. Guess I'll go to the next gun show. What is the one, usually in the old part of the Expo, that is actually a gun show, not made in china show?
