Looks like it is a Pre Remington model.

SER# 94029XXX
JM Stamped on the rt side of the barrel where it meets the receiver.
Manufactured in North Haven Ct (stamped on the barrel.)

This rifle comes with a Nikon Monarch 1.5-4.5 scope.

No rust or pitting on the metal, wood is in mint condition but for a slight wear mark on the rt side of the stock at the buttplate (see photo.)

Optics are clear and bright, action is crisp and tight.
Comes with Case in Photos.
