What do you mean "push speakers"? Does it work or not?

Sorry, very poor choice of wording on my part. You can hear the speakers are powered up, but no discernible sound comes through them. Last time I tired them, it seemed as though all you were getting was distorted base. However that was a few years ago and I no longer have speakers I can hook up to it and try. I'll see if my Dad has a loose set I can toss on and maybe I can describe it better.

Regardless, it isn't plug and play at this point, it will need work.
