If I was the gun shop owner I would prove a point and make Monday, Wednesday and Friday free to women for a whole month. Then just two days a week the following month and then back to the regular scheduled program.

IMO The people in the community will respect him for the decision and his business will boom because of it.

Unfortunately shooting, and firearms ownership remains a severely male dominated pursuit, for no good reason. I think most of us would agree that the young ladies in our lives should grow up with the belief that they can be comfortable showing interest in firearms, and that they should be able to grow up into women that can defend themselves. This is one of the rare instances where I agree that "discrimination" is a good thing. We NEED to see more women at the gun counter, and on the range. Never has a more disenfranchised group had a better chance of equality than they do now.

How about this? Members of that range can sponsor ladies night? I would absolutely pitch in $15 so a woman could shoot for free. If someone else besides the club pays for female passes, then the club isn't discriminating against limp-wristed crybabies like greg rolando.

Interesting article on the matter here
Just read it. Looks like this Rolando is a sue happy profiteer out for nothing but his own gain and using liberal laws and attitudes to accomplish it. He is the worst of the worst and hopefully will feel 'pain' from his actions someday!

This guy is the poster child for tort reform. Stupid, frivolous actions being taken on by ambulance chasing lawyers on the behalf of idiots like this moron. It's being burned by the McDonald's hot coffee all over again.

But wait a minute, the National Lawyers Guild and Bar don't want tort reform, go figure on that one.
After we shut down the current crop of nuisance law suit makers, we need to impose a twenty year moratorium on every law school in the country and place a 10% maximum on legal fees.

GUN OWNERS !
HAVE YOU EXPERIENCED A FAILURE TO FIRE FROM DEFECTIVE AMMO ?
HAVE YOU BEEN PINCHED BY AN M1 GARAND BOLT ?
SUFFERED PAIN AND HUMILIATION FROM MISSING A TARGET WITH AN UNSIGHTED RIFLE ?

WELL THE EXPERIENCED ATTORNEYS AT CHEATEM AND FARTWISSLE ARE HERE TO HELP.

CALL 1-800-SUE M 'ALL
Reminds me of a radio show I used to listen to with my aunt and uncle on the way home from thier ranch in Sisters when I was a kid... We'd always plan the trip back so we could listen to it. "Car Talk" with click and clack the tapit brothers... at the end they always thanked thier law firm "Dewey, Cheetum, and Howe".

If I ran a range, I'd want to have a counterpoint for something like this called "Douchebag Night" where being told "This guy shoots free tonight" becomes the kind of insult one does not WANT to be on the receiving end of...

But that isn't what happens.....men can shoot, but they have to pay the normal $15 range fee. Ladies shoot for free.
Really?! And he's suing over that?
Now I can't for the life of me see his side.. If he could still shoot, then I see no problem.. He must have been sitting in a forest.. Because he's certainly got a stick up his butt.

He's just in it for the money. Sue happy a$$. If it was about shooting free, all he has to do is show
up and say he "identifies as female". It's California---no one would even blink.

We NEED to see more women at the gun counter, and on the range. Never has a more disenfranchised group had a better chance of equality than they do now.

Agreed, completely. My wife is a shooter too and we've encountered some annoyances at some places. I can think of at least one good sized shop here that treated my wife like a piece of furniture when we were looking for a new piece for her. We walked, never to return again. We should be encouraging our wives, girlfriends, daughters, female colleagues, et al., to enjoy our rights and be able to defend themselves, rather than repelling them.

Beyond that, the muppet that filed the lawsuit needs to get a life, pronto. Seriously, the range was happy, the women shooters were enjoying, so there was no call for his whiny, pathetic, response.

Maybe they should do a lawyers shoot free night. Then someone can sue the range and screw it up for them!

Used to work for TGI Fridays long ago. They would have 1/2 price for unescorted ladies at the bar at anytime of day. Think the Guns and Gals pics..... If a man paid or gave them the money they were all to pay full price. Went on for years until a lawyer felt 'slighted'. Program went away and everyone got screwed! Wonder just who he thought he was 'helping'?
