Making a AI magazine fit my Mossberg .223 MVP

Ok I have the magazine, I have, some what of an idea, I am just not sure has anyone done it. The reason why I want to do this is shoot with longer bullets and with the AR magazines I have to either single shoot them or load them so deep, that they don't shoot as well. I have the tools to make my bottom metal to hold the magazine, one concern is I'll need to mill a lower part of the receiver, to accept the AI magazine.
