MAK 90 with AK stock

    What's the legal status of such a setup currently? Not that I've *ahem* ever done that . . . :paranoid:

    Just a point to ponder-can you find a verified case where someone was arrested for failing to comply with 922r?Not dealers,but average Joe the AK47 owner/shooter...

    No matter how stupid the law seems, the law is the law...you can, and will, get busted :thumbup:

    I've seen that question asked a lot but I've never seen any cases where someone is prosecuted for violating it. That being said; supposedly it's one of those things they tack on when they've already busted you for something else. And the way I look at it, is if you were to use your non-compliant gun in self defense, you'd end up being the one going to jail.


    As for the law being stupid, this one I can at least see a semi-valid reason for it. If the militia is called upon to defend our country, you wouldn't want the enemy controlling the supply of spare parts for your militia's arms would you?
