The following idea would be in addition to 2A Sanctuary efforts.
I would like to see counties and cities pass local ordinances that would require a 2/3rds vote among eligble voters before creating gun grabbing laws that are more restrictive than State laws. This would help prevent counties and cities from going crazy with more restrictive gun grabbing laws, should State Preemption law be weakened. You could be living in a community where it seems unlikely that local goverment would enact more restrictive gun laws, but one city council election or one mass murder with a firearm in your community could change that. Many communities around this State are going to be increasingly populated with gun grabbers as the years go by. We have seen it happen all over the west side of the Cascades. This is one way to slow down the gun grabbers at the local level.
