Mail a handgun to 'smith

Wondering if there's a gun dealer in the Vancouver, WA area who'd mail a handgun to licensed gunsmith on my behalf? I know I can do this myself using FedEx or UPS but that option is generally much more expensive than USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate. Of course I'm willing to pay for the service providing the total cost doesn't exceed the common carrier bend-over rate.

Buds Guns has their own shipping service setup with FedEx. It's half the cost of shipping it yourself.
It's called "Ship My Gun" and I used it for a pistol that I sold and it was very easy and saved the new owner $45.00 in next day air charges.
It's only a savings if you're shipping a pistol, but being able to print your own label and just dropping off the package at a local FedEx store makes it a time saver too.

Well, if a local 'smith fixes Sig X5 extractors that would be great. This is a very narrow specialty, I'd prefer to work with someone who's familiar with the matter.

Is it possibly a repair/replacement quality issue the manufacturer might address? In that case, I've returned two pistols to Ruger and one to S&W on their dime.

FFL's are allowed to use USPS per usps regulations. and I enjoy lemons.

FFL's can mail handguns. That's why so many guns ship for cheap on GB. Flat rate medium box.
