I bought both a PRS and a UBR during "Magpul Month"

I thought I was getting a good deal on the PRS @ $185

Magpul Month? I'm out of the loop!
I walked into a shop one day and there was a MEGA 308 build on display. I never liked the look of the UBR. After fiddling with it, I was sold. Spendy buggers they are.

They are, and heavy. I have one on a .308 AR and I like it for that. It's already heavy and the rear weight does not seem unreasonable. For that or a bench/range gun they are nicer than the Magpul carbine stuff. Even though I really like them I wouldn't put one on a rifle I planed to carry for any length of time, I like the ACS-L or CTR for that

The weight was a concern for me also. I'm not sure what I'll settle for, yet.
My 223/5.56 rifles wear the Rogers Super Stock for light weight simplicity.
