How is it a Russian receiver if the receiver was made in Egypt.

That's not entirely true. Egyptians used Russian tooling yes, but That does not make it a Russian made gun. Same as my Chinese Type 3 Polytech not being russian even though it was the same tooling that built it.

These were mak kits that century purchased for dirt cheap and then built of a maadi receivers. Some had a sleeve made to fit the different size barrel to the front trunion. Later they used the mak ft to avoid the sleeve which was problematic.
