m1907 sling identification

so i have an m1907 sling with stamps i simply dont recognize. i did some reading in but couldnt find anything so im wandering if anyone else knows? maybe this is just a reaaaallly beat up repro?
its marked "CAN" with three round triangluar marks around the can and what apears to be a "10" below the "d-ring"

US 1907 Sling

Closest would be a DUNCAN marking, but that doesn't look like it's a partial mark.

Maybe a lend-lease marked for a Canadian unit?

I'm not an expert, but I've owned a few and that's the best I can come up with. Pre-World War II sling because of the brass hardware instead of steel.

Any of the experts here are welcome to correct anything I've missed.

yeah i was thinking "can" could be canada but doesnt make a whole lotta sense considering the time frame

Crazy thought ....
Some US M1907 slings were used on the Sniper variants of the Lee Enfield ... I wonder if they were marked this way?

it sucks info on things like this is hard to find, from fires to wastefulness to military procedure ect so much info gets lost to time
