Up for sale is a M1 carbine made by International Business Machine. IBM produced a mere 5.7% of all M1 Carbines for the war effort. The serial number of this gun puts the date of manufacture around Feb. 1944. Barrel and receiver are IBM, but other parts are mixed USGI. Stock and hand guard are Winchester and you'll see in the photos the serial number was stamped into the stock. This was a common practice in Israel when they armed their military and police with M1 Carbines lent to them by the U.S. after WWII.
