Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
It will be back unless they are just flat tired of paying for it but it's usually only like $15's a year to maintain a domain. It's the server fee's that cost you no the domain name.
Well... I know go daddy will hold a domain name for like 60 days after it expires so you can buy it back from them for like $40. How many member's did the forum used to have?
GO daddy's got nothing to do with the sixty day thing... that's universal. NO domain name is truly available until it has been sixty days expired.
Last I checked, Go Daddy charged nine bucks or so to register the domain name. If they've gone crazy, try www.aplus.net. They charge less than ten bucks...... are easy to use, their website is simple.. and they've got a good reputation.
But, as mentioned, it is the hosting that is dear...... perhaps some small local outfit would be willing to cut them some slack in the fees.......
