M-16 Sling

    What I need is a genuine, or exact copy of the Vietnam-era (nylon-web) OD sling I'm most familiar with. I cannot find a "M" designation for the sling, but it's the earlier one with the spring clip for the forward sling swivel, and an adjustable tensioner-clamp for the butt end. Used to be a dime-a-dozen in the surplus stores, but I cannot find them.

    I think that's close enough that it will work just fine. I didn't realize that there were so many variations of this sling.

    That's the exact sling (I bought it from that site) I use for shooting service rifle. It has worked pretty well so far.
