Well, I certainly wouldn't do it with an 1872 action. I wouldn't even try it in a #5 action although it is a much stronger action. It might be worthy to note that Remington was still making RRBs when the '06 cartridge came out but never chambered one of them in '06.

If it were mine I would keep it as an unfired curio or have it rebarreled.
 
In a short search there's no H4895 at Powder Valley, Midway or BiMart. :( I didn't check Sportsman's as they'll probably want $30.00 or more for a lb.
Natchez has both H and Dupont...there is a guy back in Ohio that sells surplus powders buy different numbers but the same burn rates. He also sells current cases and bullets. Advertises in Shot Gun News and Gun Digest. Sorry but can't recall the name.
