I could tell you stories about the owner. Let's just say, who's been out to Cape Lookout, and seen the house with the razor wire?
Who owns it now? I haven't been there for almost 20 years. Prices were always jacked then anyway.I could tell you stories about the owner. Let's just say, who's been out to Cape Lookout, and seen the house with the razor wire?

Shady Ben was my first thought. You use the term "gentleman" quite loosely. I know a number of people that have had business dealings with him mostly bad. I can imagine theres been quite a bit more since I left the area. What a POS.Benjamin Hathaway. Google the name if you want to get an idea of this gentlemans varied business interests.
IMO Tillamook Sporting Goods has probably never operated in the black but likely serves another financial purpose for its owner and his broad business interests.
I'm not really sure how a person looks at a weapon and determines it to be "fully automatic" without a close inspection and hands-on function test, but it makes for a good story. As a Tillamook Local, I can agree to all that was said here. We all think the guy that owns Tillamook Sporting Goods is a mob boss. I've heard stories to think that and the amount of bodyguards and automatic weapons on his property. I've heard the fully automatic weapons thing alot, its really crazy...
