Lost 1911 part, replace or upgrade?

So I twisted the barrel bushing while outside and sproing, recoil spring plug went I don't know where. Should I just get another one or is this a chance to upgrade to something else?

I would just get a standard plug and spring to put back in...Unless its an antique or something special.

I've still got the spring, I almost had a hold of the whole mess but the plug got away. Launched, not too far, but I couldn't find it.

It's a Para GI Expert in stainless, so I'd need a stainless plug. Know anybody around Willamette Valley that stocks 1911 parts? I haven't bought one yet because online the shipping almost doubles the cost.
