LE Agencies change issue ammo too often to rely on the "carry what they do" principle - besides for them cost is a factor as much as performance - administrative bean counters make the final decision, not beat cops, not ballistic experts, not real world dead bodies.

Any expanding round in serviceable caliber will do. Some better than others, but they'll all poke holes in bad people.

I personally would not buy anything from G2 - it's another gimmick like Blackhawk ExtremeShock ammo. I don't trust those perfect expanded photos either - they're usually taken in a specifically calibrated gel medium with no hard tissue first, no clothing layer, and they only represent a small portion of perfect conditions for perfect expansion. I'll stick with Hornady, Sig Premium, or anything Winchester JHP. Once upon a time I carried Hydra Shoks, but didn't find them to expand nearly often enough. THey did retain their bullet weight well though. Golden Sabres and Gold Dots are likewise decent choices. Too many good mainstream rounds to chose from to waste money on gimmick rounds.
