I'd just gift him. would not want my grandkids growing up thinking Gramps is a tight wad.

Gosh my Gramps on my dad's side was sooo tight. He never bought another candy bar when the price got up to 10 cents . Put me to work shoveling out cow pens every Saturday and pay was 1 16 ga shotgun shell. He'd even smirk when he handed me the shell and say, "Go shoot a gopher and don't miss."

$23 for 300 rnds .22
$17 for brass 9mm



I give my kid all the .22 he wants but he is 13 if a grown bubblegum adult didn't buy 9mm he is paying premium

especially if that's the only thing he needs lol
