I need the two dummy screws that go in the left side of the Marlin 336 receiver. I picked up an older 336 that is factory drill and tapped on the left side. I had to drill out one of the screws as it was frozen in there and the head had been stripped out.

Anyone know what size screw this is? it's pretty tiny, I'm guessing it to be like a 5-32X3/16".

Have you tried Numrichs? They usually have a lot of that stuff:

Do you need the peep site dummy screws? They have them listed for a 336C here:

many thanks!!! at least a place to buy them. Still don't know what size they are for sure. The guy at Williams gunsights says they are 6-48, but everything I read says 6-48 is the standard gun scope screw size so I assumed that meant the holes on top of the receiver. The side holes are smaller than the top holes. anywho - thanks
