Arms of America has wbp polish made AKs, they are very good quality!

I've pretty much owned them all over the years, VEPR's, Arsenals, Definitive Arms, Rifle Dynamics, WASR, PSA and even tried a couple Century offerings......I would recommend the New Zastava from Zastava USA. They are as good and robust as all of the ones costing 2-3 times as much in my opinion. The Wasr was an excellent choice when they were really cheap, but I think the Zastava USA (Not Century Arms) is a definite upgrade for just a couple hundred bux more. I currently have a 5.56 up for sale, not trying to plug a sale for it for I think you are looking for 7.62 x 39

If I didn't have any AKs and could only buy one (1) under a $1000 I would be looking at the Zastava M70. Seems to have a lot of good features and be very well made. People also say good things about the K-USA KR-103.

I just sold an Arsenal AK and that one was very well made and functioned flawlessly. But those are now hovering close to $2k, if you can find one in stock.

Guns are very expensive now. Especially metal/wood guns.

I wouldn't advise buying any AK made by Century Arms, way too many past issues with build quality. Use them only for imported AKs.

Commie guns and ammo from commie countries
In other words, don't buy a US made AK

I’m going to go with an unpopular opinion based on experience. I have not owned 10 different AK rifles over the years. My favorite are Chinese and Bulgarian. The Yugo rifles are heavy but otherwise great rifles.
As stated American made AKs suck with one exception the PSA AK GF3 through GF5 guns are really nice and have shown to be of good quality. In my opinion they are the best value on the market right now.
