I go up WildCat sometimes. You just have to drive up past the no shooting postings and iirc shooting is permitted off to the north side of the main access road. It is posted on where its allow.

I have a son who lives in Gresham, he'd be interested. How do you get to "WildCat?"

Go out 26 east past sandy. Take a right onto firwood rd at shortys corner. Turn right to stay on firwood rd follow that for a few miles until you come to the fourway stop and turn left onto wildcat mountain dr. Then you just take that for several miles.
