Generally it means that you shouldn't get your hopes up.
I've responded to a lot of old threads like this and later on realized they're more then a few years old and the member had already found what they were looking for and had forgotten to close the thread.
Anyway, good luck. It never hurts to try.

Thanks, but since I posted this wanted add, I received through Private Conversations here, very nice USGI 1911's at very good prices. Not sure I want another, my main thing are M1 Carbines. What are you thinking you want for yours? Pic's show it's been chrome plated?? Gene
